Steve Johanson, our CEO, presented to a packed auditorium at the recent APICS 2010 conference in Las Vegas. The topic was how \”Trapped Capacity\” foils your run strategies and puts your organizations at risk of low service level.   The presentation was very well received and many attendees claimed it was the best presentation of the conference.  This shows the level of interest in capacity management in the planning community.\r \r  \r \r ABSTRACT:\r \r  \r \r Trapped capacity occurs when demand variability consumes the effective capacity of a tool or work center.
